Based in the North East of England, Freak Out Are an eight piece, fully live band performing a show of huge hits from the music legend Nile Rodgers.

The band were formed in 2022 after the founding members, Mike and Carl, had the privilege of supporting Nile Rodgers and Chic as part of a different project on the main stage at Hardwick Live festival in front of 10,000 people. They were hooked and blown away by the Nile Rodgers show, and that is what Freak Out aim to replicate. They have just come off of a run of 25 dates on the main stages of Butlins resorts around the UK

Freak Out consist of the aforementioned founders on drums and guitar, Mike has played since an early age across venues in Wales, through to hundreds of gigs in function bands across the North East and wider UK. Carl has played guitar and sung in numerous bands, both function bands and original bands at venues from the Manchester G-Mex to the York Barbican. Additional members are Dan on bass; Dan has 20 years’ experience playing in high end function bands across the UK. With Andrea on keys, who has played the Royal Albert Hall with a previous project.

On saxophone we have Julie, who has 20 years' experience playing with bands such as Ibiza in Symphony, doing theatre tours and session work. On trumpet is Matt, with a degree in music and 15 years' experience playing in brass bands across the country.

Finally we have Claire and Kayleigh on lead vocals. Claire and Kayleigh both have 10 years’ experience each performing with one of the North East’s top function bands, Claire runs 8 choirs under the company Voices of Darlington, and Kayleigh has a wealth of experience performing and as musical director on various cruise ships.

Freak Out are a highly professional, energetic band that perform all of Nile Rodgers’ huge hits as part of this year’s must see show!

Featuring Ally as Jon Bon Jovi (X Factor, The Singer Takes It All and Britains Got Talent) aka Jon Wrong Jovi on vocals, Wrong Jovi have one of the UKs most talented front men leading the band through some of rock n rolls most legendary songs. Ally is backed by some of the UK's most highly respected musicians.
